how I work
I have been practicing therapy for the past 26 years and have witnessed the power of therapy and the therapeutic relationship to lead to profound, positive change in the lives of people I have worked with.
We will work together to help you identify early patterns of attachment, to uncover latent feelings underneath sometimes problematic behaviors, and to reduce your anxiety enough to be able to change.
My approach includes listening, noticing physical manifestations of emotional states, making connections, helping you to contain overwhelming feelings and sometimes just bearing witness to pain.
